I'm playing Ziva David from NCIS. I have taken her from post Season 6, Episode 11 (the Christmas episode). So, as the series updates, she will not experience those updates. But, I'd love to hear your thoughts and etc. about how I'm playing her so this is the post for it. All comments are screened, so don't be shy. :3

Everyone else has heard the child giggling in the hallway, yes?
Has anyone been turned into children again? It certainly is not menot that any of you were wondering.
If anyone would like to begin an investigation of the matter, I would be more than willing to help, considering I have very little else to do at the moment. As much as I enjoy reading, there is only so much of it I can do in a day.
And welcome to everyone who I have not yet had the chance to speak with.
[Private to Olive and Aerith]
Are you alright? I have not heard from either of you in a decent amount of time.
[Private to Takami and Kanji]
I apologize if my behavior has been at all out of hand.

H-Hi. Sorry for bo-bothering you earlier, Aerith. Pleasedonothurtme.
[A soft sniffle before she continues.]
I'm s-sorry to everyo-one I've been m-m-m-mean to. I'm a big b-bi-bitch.
[She gives a quiet sob as if saying something foul offended herself.]
Especially to Ta-Takami-san and K-Kanji... F-Fa-Fai--
[A series of sobs breaks up her words as the Israeli goes back to hiding and crying under her sheets.]
(ooc: For the opposite personality event, Ziva is a blubbering and scared girl.)

(ooc: Before I start, super huge amazingly big spoilers for the end of Season 6 of NCIS. I took her originally from the Christmas episode, which is mid-Season 6, and I was always really grateful because tension picks up as the series goes on. As much as I would love her to still be from the Christmas episode, with this event she will now be from early 6.25 "Aliyah." The episode can be watched here: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/ncis/v ideo/video.php?cid=446409482&pid=riO2MQctK49F1q4PcnQyiQfQF44ZlD7n&category=recent&play=true With that in mind, Ziva will be particularly different when she comes back to the House. Paranoid, on edge, dodgy, etc.)
[Quiet flickering as the device somewhat turns on. A sharp voice:] Ziva.
[Ziva's reply is somewhat louder:] I know what you are going to say Gibbs.
[Gibbs's voice is softer, concerned:] No I don't think you do.
[A short silence with only the muted murmurs of footfalls.]
[Anxiously, Ziva speaks:] I know you think I lied to you, about Rivkin, but I did not. You asked me if I knew him, if he worked for Mossad, not if I was seeing him, not...
[Gibbs interrupts:]Sit down.
[The device flickers a little before the conversation continues:]
[Softly, with concern, Gibbs speaks:] Your apartment's been destroyed. Gas fire. Earlier this morning.
[Cautiously, Ziva continues:] Perhaps the line was damaged during the fight. I would talk to Tony.
[Urgently, Gibbs:] No. This was no accident. The gas lines were cut. Any idea---
[Ziva, with a terse and short reply:] No.
[Gibbs:] That was a quick answer.
[Ziva:] Simple question.
[Gibbs:] Ziva, it's your home.
Ziva:] No it's not.
[Footfalls into silence and the device flickers out into silence.]

[Ziva slowly gets up from her bed in the middle of the day. She steals across her room towards the en-suite and closes the door before flicking the light on. Quietly, she takes in her appearance: matted hair, dark-encircled eyes, and generally run-down everywhere else. What matters most to her, though, is the lack of bruising around her neck. The strangulation marks left by Faith had finally faded to a manageable color. She could easily hide these with her foundation if she felt especially self-conscious. With a beaming smile at herself, the Israeli exits the en-suite with a strong stride towards her armoire. Yawning a little, she pulls open the door to grab her usual cargo pants and beater but something catches her eye. A simple but elegant long blue dress hangs in the closet.]
[Confused, she activates her wrist device:] Is anyone missing a dress? It was not here yesterday.
[She gazes at the fabric a little, deciding that she will try it on after she showers. If nothing else but for the sake of wearing something nice after recuperating from the beatdown of her life.]

[After a few days of attempting to recover on her own from the fight beatdown from Faith and not feeling much better, the Israeli figures that at this point she could ask for a little help. When she speaks, her voice is hoarse and strained, despite attempts to sound normal.]
If anyone needs help building a shelter from the hail, let me know. I still have my knives and the armoires should serve well.
[The message is quick, not wanting to spread the news too far of her condition. She can still feel the bruising on her neck, the black eye, busted lip, bruised ribs, and just generally sore stomach from being kneed. It's nothing Ziva hasn't ever suffered before but it'd been a while since she'd felt the need to keep such injuries hidden. If she were home, Gibbs would have rushed her to the hospital already but here, the NCIS agent felt alone from time to time, especially now that Tony had left. But, she attempts to assure herself, Aerith would be getting married sometime and she would be the maid of honor. These bruises had to heal.]
(ooc: Comment/message/IM me first before about any action tags with this thread, mainly just because Ziva's not going to want everyone in the House seeing her injuries.)

[Going to glee club has Ziva attempting to play piano again. She'd been taught many years ago and she's not terrible but she's not outstanding either. The Israeli sits in the music room where she and Olive had sat only a couple days ago. She attempts to pluck out a familiar melody she's had stuck in her head for a few days but falls quite short of trying to play it as successfully as she might want to. She glances up at the clock, notices that if she keeps this up she'll be late for her English class but the allure of just getting to play again without an audience--- as so much as she can see--- proves too much and she settles in, pulling off her heels to better pedal.
After a few hours at the piano, she can be found playing this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RK5DEhu 3pM quietly, not wanting to rouse any attention. She pauses and glances around the room before even more quietly singing along.]
Them that's got shall get
Them that's not shall lose
So the Bible said and it still is news
Mama may have, Papa may have
But God bless the child that's got his own
That's got his own.
[Feeling a little silly for what may look like a one-woman show to anyone who walks in the room, Ziva stops singing and playing to just sit at the piano for a few moments before getting up. She tucks a strand of curly hair out of her vision before trying to make a quick exit without anyone knowing she was there.]
(ooc: Ziva does sing once in NCIS and has made references to being taught piano for an extensive period. Her singing in canon is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exPp1fp_ qn8 . She's so wonderful. <3 One more note, any characters wanting to hear her play/sing will need to be very discrete about it because, well, she's a ninja. She'll hear you if you're not super sneaky XD. )

[Ziva is busy trying to disarm a few of the bombs. She has knife out as she works on the bomb directly outside of her door. She pulls her hair up out of her face as she pauses to better assess the device and its setup. She traces the knife over one of the wires, confused before deciding to attempt to disable the timer. Cautiously, she pries open the timing device and again pauses to make sure no one is around to potentially get caught in the blast if she messes this up. Before cutting the wire, the Israeli activates her wrist device.]
Whoever did this will be punished. We have ways of finding you and I will be more than happy to put a bullet between your eyes. I do not care just how funny you may find this. It is dangerous and reckless to do such a thing.
Explosives are not toys or suitable for pranks.
...Takami-san and Olive, we may want to hold off on meeting, depending on how this goes. Tony, thank you for speaking with me. I hope this will not... oh nevermind. Aerith, Sohma, Bridge, stay away from the door.
[She slides her knife underneath the yellow wire and slices through it. She braces for the impact but none comes. She breathes out a sigh of relief.]
If anyone needs an explosive disarmed, I will be more than willing to do so.
(ooc: Reno or Ozzie-mun, just let me know if she can or can't disable the bomb or if she slices the wrong wire, etc. She has a great deal of bomb-disarming training but may not be familiar with how Reno sets up bombs or whatever. I'm fine with either option at this point.)

[There is a pause as she curses in Hebrew.]

[Ziva paces around her room, a small baby girl clutched tightly in her arms. For now, the child is quiet, which the Israeli finds a relief. So much noise last week had already withered her patience down to nearly nothing. As she passes the door again, she activates her PHS.]
[quietly:] Is there a Connor MacManus in the House? You and I have a baby girl. Her name is Hadassa. I already named her, yes. I was not about to wait around all week to give her a name. It is a traditional Jewish name and I did not think you would mind.
[The baby wakes up a little, beginning to cry again.]
[cooing:] Shhh... shh... Hadassa. [whispering into the PHS again:] Room 308 please.
[There is a distinct pause as the child falls back asleep.]
[quietly again:] Tony? Are you busy? I need to speak with you.
[She shuts the device off and cradles the baby closer to her chest, rocking the sleeping child gently and humming to her. The Israeli wishes more than ever that she was home instead. Gibbs would know how to take care of a baby and she wouldn't have to deal with the guilt she feels for treating Faith the way she did last week.]

[Ziva prepares the lounge for her night with the children. She volunteered a few days ago to watch movies with the kids in the lounge and allow the other adults a night off from trying to constantly keep them calm and quiet. She sets out pillows and blankets for the younger kids and some food from the kitchen on one of the tables. While she had never been much of the party planner, she distinctly remembered how office parties were set up at NCIS. She had been at one the day before she was brought to the House.
She checks her watch and hopes that Tony will arrive soon to assist her. He was the movie guru after all. She was just here to help keep the kids under control. She looks through a pile of movies as she waits before making the announcement.]
Tonight there will be movies and pie in the lounge for the children of the house. Everyone should thank Olive for the amazing deserts she made and join me for some fun.
[The Israeli switches off the wrist device and sits down on the couch, mentally preparing herself for the onslaught of kids.]
(ooc: This will most likely get backdated into next week because I'm going to be busy this weekend, but please feel free to join in anyway.)

[Ziva is fast asleep in her bed for a time, exhausted like Takami for being out and about trying to fight off the zombies for the past couple weeks. Her last encounter with the undead beings perturbed her greatly; she had nearly died several times in a row, and that sort of thing took a toll on her. The last time she had been in that position was in the nightclub in Morocco and even then she had not had to think about it much. After over twenty-four hours of sleeping since her battle to the library with Takami, the Israeli stirs from her slumber and rubs at her eyes a little. She notices the light shining through her window and checks the time on her PHS.]
[muttered to herself] How long have I been asleep?
[She runs over the things she remembers. Leaving Tony in the library to go rescue Takami-san, talking to Aerith a little while she watched over the football player. And most of all, the fight for her life as she and Takami-san worked their way to the library, the moments she thought for sure she would die. Ziva activates her PHS and speaks into it:]
Does anyone know how many zombies are left or if they simply disappeared?

Would someone please take care of Tony? I am, at the moment, a little busy here on the third floor. He should not be allowed outside the library. Aerith, you can do that, if you are not busy, yes? I would greatly appreciate it.
[She glances back down at Takami before continuing:]
Is someone attending to Faith? She seemed... distressed and I am currently in charge of keeping watch over Takami-san.
[Quieter, private to Yako:]
He is alright. Just exhausted it seems. I will try to bring him back to the library when he wakes up.
[The device clicks off and Ziva gets up from the bed and limps over to double-check the barricade of armoires against the door. They are shaking a little from the force of the attack on the door by the undead outside. She hopes that she will survive this.]

Just when Tony appears looking much more handsome than I remember we have these zombies. I have heard from Faith that there are ways to kill them so I at least take comfort in that. I am already down one knife (Tony, you have yours right? Rule Number 9?) and I am not quite willing to use up my limited ammunition yet but it someone desperately needs a weapon then I could provide. There should be more knives in the kitchen as well, so I would be willing to make a trip down there.
Tony, I am so glad you are here but perhaps we should save a reunion until we are not swarmed by zombies. Unless you would want to barricade ourselves in somewhere. Let me know.
Aerith, please, please stay safe this week.

This week has been quite strange. I woke up to find that my roommate (and apparently a good portion of the House) had... changed. It is so strange. At least, though, it seems that all of the stress of this week is wiping away the occurrences of last week which is good and bad. So, I suppose, everyone will need to deal with the awkward aftermath of both of these past two weeks. Or we could all just ignore it, as well.
Is it bad that I am starting to miss home less?

This morning was quite wonderful. I woke up, found that we were finally free of our rooms and the first thing I did was hurry towards the bathroom. On the way, I saw Takami-san and it was like I had never seen him before. The way that he held himself and the way that his glasses were balanced on his nose, it was quite a sight to behold. My heart nearly jumped out of my chest in an effort to get to him.
I think it is love.
If anyone needs me, I will be at Takami-san’s side.
